Privacy policy

Who is responsible

The data controller is the company that operates ProfTips, registered in Cyprus (details to be published on incorporation). Contact for any privacy request: support@proftips.io.

What we collect and why

Telegram identifiers (numeric user ID, username, first name, language, timezone you set) — to run the bot, deliver access and enforce one account per subscription. Basis: contract.
Payment records (order ID, plan, amount, time, Stripe customer ID, Stripe payment references, billing country, email address you give Stripe) — to deliver what you bought, issue receipts, handle refunds and disputes, and meet tax law. Basis: contract and legal obligation. Card numbers are handled by Stripe only.
Consent records (which boxes you ticked, when, from which IP address and browser) — to prove age and consent if a payment is disputed. Basis: legitimate interest and legal obligation.
Group membership events (joins, leaves, removals, invite links) — to enforce access rules. Basis: contract.
Support messages you send through the bot. Basis: contract.
Technical logs (IP address, timestamps, errors) — security and reliability. Basis: legitimate interest.

We do not build profiles about your betting, and we do not sell personal data.

Who receives data

Stripe (payments; Stripe is an independent controller for card data), Telegram (message delivery), our hosting provider in Germany (Hetzner) and, where legally required, tax authorities. We do not transfer data outside the EU/EEA except to Stripe under its standard contractual clauses and to Telegram as the platform you use.

How long we keep data

Payment, consent and dispute records: 10 years (tax and accounting law, chargeback windows).
Bot and access data: for as long as you have an account plus 24 months; accounts inactive for 24 months are deleted.
Technical logs: 90 days.
Self-exclusion records: permanently, so the exclusion holds.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion (where no legal duty to keep it applies), restriction, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to support@proftips.io; we answer within 30 days. You can complain to the Cyprus Commissioner for Personal Data Protection or your local authority.

Cookies

This website sets no tracking cookies and uses no advertising trackers. Stripe's checkout page sets cookies needed to process payment and prevent fraud.
