Terms of service
1. Who we are
ProfTips ("we", "us") is operated by a company registered in Cyprus (registration pending; details will be published here on incorporation). Contact: support@proftips.io. We publish sports analysis and opinions in a free Telegram channel and a paid private Telegram group ("VIP").
2. What the service is, and is not
ProfTips provides analysis, statistics and predictions about sporting events as information and opinion. We do not accept bets, operate any game, hold customer funds, pay out winnings, or arrange bets with third parties. Nothing we publish is financial, investment or legal advice, and nothing is a guarantee of profit. Any decision to bet, and any loss, is yours alone.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or older if the law where you live sets a higher age for gambling-related content. You must be legally allowed to receive this content where you are. We block purchases from countries where tipster services or gambling promotion are restricted; at present this includes Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, India and the United Kingdom. We may change this list at any time. Purchases made from a blocked country by circumventing our checks are refunded and access is revoked.
4. Accounts and access
Access is tied to a single Telegram account. Invite links are single-use and personal. You may not share, resell, forward, screenshot for redistribution, or otherwise make VIP content available to anyone else. Anyone found in the VIP group without an active subscription is removed. Breach of this section ends your subscription without refund.
5. Plans, prices and duration
Plans are one-off payments for a fixed period of one, three, six or twelve calendar months. Prices are shown in euro and include VAT where it applies. Access begins the minute a payment is confirmed and ends exactly one calendar period later, to the minute. If you buy again while your access is active, the new period is added to your current expiry date; if you buy after it has expired, the new period starts from the new payment. Nothing renews automatically. The introductory first-month price is available once per person; we may use your Telegram account, payment details and email to enforce this, and a second introductory purchase is refunded.
6. Delivery and right of withdrawal
Access is a digital service delivered immediately after payment. At checkout you ask us to start delivery at once and acknowledge that, once delivery starts, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply under EU consumer law. See the refund policy.
7. Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms; we never see your card number. Telegram Stars payments are processed by Telegram. If a payment is refunded, reversed or disputed, access ends immediately and you may be prevented from purchasing again.
8. Responsible use
Bet only with money you can afford to lose. You can permanently exclude yourself from ProfTips at any time with the /exclude command in the bot; after a 24-hour cooling-off period the exclusion is final and cannot be reversed by us. See our responsible gambling page.
9. Content and intellectual property
All content is ours or licensed to us and is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. We may correct, annotate or void a published pick when there is a factual error or a postponed event; corrections are logged and remain visible. We do not delete settled results.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to publish daily but do not promise a minimum number of picks, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may change prices and these terms; changes apply to purchases made after the change. Telegram is a third-party platform we do not control.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for betting losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Termination
We may end your access without refund if you breach these terms, abuse the service, or behave abusively towards staff or members. You may stop using the service at any time; unused time is not refunded.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus. Consumers in the EU also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their own country and may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform. Courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumers' rights to bring claims at home.
